We will never know that Christ is all we  need until Christ is all we have. Situations that we cannot change, but would like to, and circumstances we can't endure but have to, bring us to this realization. This is not a position of personal defeat, but it can be a place where self sufficiency is defeated. We will be able to "abide under the shadow of the Almighty " Ps 91:1 When we grasp the truth of Is 55:8-9, "For My thoughts are not your thoughts, nor are your ways My ways, says the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth so are My ways higher than your ways, and My thoughts than Your thoughts."
